Artist Tip No. 4. DO NOT ANTAGONIZE OR BE AGGRESSIVE WITH GALLERIES.
The last thing you want to do is initiate your contact with a gallery in a hostile manner. If you’re having trouble with their submission process or something else, do not email them with an aggressive tone, especially if they’ve been polite and understanding so far.
It not only sours the experience for the gallery, but it sours their perception of your piece and you. They will not want to deal with you at all.
This is not to say you should let them bully you, there is a difference. Just don’t be rude right off the bat.

Naming Ceremony Magazine is an online and in-print publication that is published bi-monthly by Naming Ceremony Gallery. It showcases emerging and established artists alike, and artists of a wide range of ages and backgrounds, and at various stages of their artistic careers.
We are currently accepting submissions for the November issue of Naming Ceremony Magazine. Please be sure to read the guidelines before submitting!
We take submissions to the Magazine Year-round and it is open to whatever topic/theme/style/medium you would like to show off. From Photography to illustration, graphic design to oil paintings and collage.
Poetry and illustrated poetry also accepted!
Submissions are reviewed and are not guaranteed acceptance into the online magazine. - but this is why you’re allowed to submit 10 images for only $5, to give you the best chance.
